I just finished reading Jennifer Roskamp’s brand new book “A Realistic Action Plan For the Weary Mom” and I’m thrilled to share with you what an amazing experience this book has been for me! It has left me feeling motivated and confident in my role as a mom and has brought hope and encouragement in our everyday family life.
- feel overwhelmed by your everyday tasks;
- feel like you’re doing it wrong;
- miss your freedom;
- crave for more time for yourself;
- feel like a failure;
- want to be a better mom.
Jennifer gives a solution to many of the struggles we face every day as moms! And she does it in such a light, inspirational and structured way, that the only thing we should really do is to follow the action plan she has so nicely written out for us.
The book is divided into 15 chapters. (As the subtitles says: “15 Days of Hope From the Intentional Mom”.) Each chapter focuses on a specific struggle that we might have and outlines a clear and realistic action plan for overcoming it. You can read the chapters in whatever order you choose, depending on your needs and preferences. I just read it from beginning to end.
“A Realistic Action Plan for the Weary Mom” brings hope and encouragement to all moms. The way it is written and structured turns it into a wonderful guide to turn to in a moment of desperation or hurt.
