December is rapidly approaching and so are all the havoc and excitement around the holidays. It’s probably the busiest time of the year, when one can hardly catch his breath while running from one activity to another. That’s why I decided to spend November in preparation for the year ahead. That way I’ll have plenty of time for practice and tuning during December, and January will be charged with energy and determination to mark the beginning of one successful, intentional and happy new year. I really wish at the end of it to be able to look back and say: “OK, it was a GREAT year! I accomplished this and this and that….”
I bet that’s what we all want, don’t we? A new year brings a new beginning, fresh start and revived hopes. I’m always excited about new beginnings. However, at some point I just get back into the usual routine and the hopes and goals I have set at the beginning remain mere dreams for some time in the future.
I want this year to be different. I will work on habits, goals, discipline, budget, and accounting. Starting now. On Monday, November 2, I begin the Make Over Your Mornings Challenge and the Best Year Ever mini course. The result of those two put together should be a successful and intentional new year, new way of life, and a new better I.
I invite you to join me on this journey to becoming a more organized person by signing up for the courses or by following my daily posts about what we’ve accomplished and what remains a struggle for my family.
Looking forward to sharing my experience with you! Meanwhile, let me know how you picture your year. What are your expectations, hopes and fears? What do you plan to do in order to accomplish and overcome them? Share with us in the comments below.
