The second week of January is over and I’m so happy to tell you that it’s been such an amazing week! There were so many new things that we experienced and learned! I’m thrilled that my son is now going to a kids club and we both love it! It’s only for one hour three times per week, but I find it to be so worth it! They teach them new things, play games, sing, dance, learn… He is in a Russian group, so I hope that this will help him to get more comfortable with the language as well.
Also, I’m amazed to discover how much I have been missing from life until now! Since I started getting up early at the beginning of the year, my days have been fuller, more meaningful and most of all – they don’t pass in a blur! I’m so thankful for finding the strength and motivation to push myself to get up each morning! The strange thing is that my son also started getting up quite early (which kind of sabotages my morning schedule), but anyway… I’m still grateful! 🙂
Here are 5 of my favorite things this week:
My son at a Christmas party. I know, in the middle of January?! Yet that’s what it was:) With Santa Claus and a Christmas tree, lights, presents…:) Even though he couldn’t care less for Santa, he enjoyed running on stage and playing with the lights:)
The best chicken wings I have ever had! And I made them myself using the multicooker 😛
My son’s first assignment at the kids club.
This quote from “Money Making Mom” by Crystal Paine. I finished reading the book this week and I just can’t recommend it enough, especially if you’re trying to earn extra income or to start a business. What I loved most about it, though, is the reminder that we’re here with a mission. Our existence in this world matters and we should use it to make a difference. I felt so moved by her words and by the experiences she shares! I have never given it much serious thought until now, but I think that my understanding of money and existence has been permanently changed after reading this book.
This game. OK, I don’t usually play games, but my husband urged me to try that one. And guess what? I couldn’t put it down for at least one hour! It’s called Piano Tiles 2 and it’s really cute and a bit addicting (especially in the beginning). Anyway, I absolutely loved it!:)
So, that’s from me this week. Feel free to share with me how your week has passed in the comments below.
I wish you all happy Sunday and a successful new week ahead!
